Victor, Idaho

<div>I am a full time guide based out of Victor, Idaho, specializing in person-centered mountain education and experiences. I grew up in rural Massachusetts and was fortunate to be introduced to the outdoors at a young age through excursions to the mountains, forests, and rivers of New England with my family. Backcountry snowboarding was my passion, and I cut my teeth as a teenager on the steep, icy slopes of the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the Green Mountains of Vermont.&nbsp;</div><div><br>I pursued an undergraduate degree in Environmental Policy &amp; Education from Colby College in Maine, guiding and teaching during college and continuing full time after graduation. I now call the Teton Mountains home, and spend my summers and winters guiding there, with springs and falls spent on trips to other ranges. </div><div><br>I’ve guided skied, and climbed across the Colorado Rockies, Tetons, North Cascades, Alaska Range, Iceland, and the French &amp; Swiss Alps. Currently, I work predominantly for Exum Mountain Guides, Yostmark Backcountry Tours, and the American Avalanche Institute in the Tetons.&nbsp;</div><div><br>When I’m not guiding or instructing, you’ll find me with my nose in a book - likely about the American West - or cooking a tasty meal with my partner or friends.&nbsp;</div>
