Hokkaido Powder Week

<div>You’ve heard it from your friends, “you need to go to Hokkaido!” They’re not pulling your leg. The Hype is real! Just to the north of the main island of Japan, Hokkaido receives the right amount of Siberian cold and ocean fed precipitation to supply endless amounts of deep powder. The snow is what it’s all about and we’re going to ride as much of it as we can over this powder week!<br><br> </div><div> </div><div>Storm days are spent riding the wide-open birch tree forests Hokkaido is known for. Sunny days are for summiting the local volcanos and getting big descents into the valleys. Evenings are spent soaking in the many natural Onsen’s (natural hot springs) on the island and enjoying the very fine art of traditional Japanese cuisine. This is the trip you’ve been dreaming about! </div><div> </div><div>You will be lead by our best IFMGA and AMGA Certified Ski Guide - Geoff Lodge and Laura Berger. Be ready for they like to serve up a week of the deep, untouched powder lines you’ve been dreaming of on these hot sunny days. If you’ve skied with us before, you know we always find it. We believe this trip is about ski touring into the peace of nature to find untracked pow away from the crowds. We may use a lift or two to access some of the stellar backcountry venues, but the majority of the trip is spent well out of bounds.<br><br> </div><div> </div><div>Our accommodations are very comfortable. Our logistics are proven. We believe in providing a trip that includes almost everything. You just arrive ready to ride as a much as possible.</div>
