Get to Know a Pro: A Q+A with Holly Mackin
From mopping floors at Jackson Hole's The Juicery to leading trips for Jackson Hole Mountain Guides, Holly Mackin has a story to tell. Her guiding life is centered on the idea that sharing these wild places with others is what living is about. She is inspired by her clients who seek new challenges, new vistas, and new perspectives that naturally come with adventures in the outdoors. Committed to helping more women succeed in the guiding world and fueled by a desire to see more women in the backcountry, Holly heads up the women's programming for Jackson Hole Mountain guides, running all-female trips in Moab and Jackson. She is also a driving force for the Women's Network, a community of women working in the guiding space and leading trips for women. "It's about breaking down the barriers to making it possible for women to make a living as a guide, and it's about making the backcountry experience more approachable for women interested in honing their skills or trying something new. Often, women new to or building their skills in outdoor adventuring will take chances in all-female trips before they will in mixed groups." In short The Women's Network is about empowering the women who guide and the women who seek adventure.

Why We Built Cache_Seven + Why It Will Change the Way We Buy Outdoor Gear
We built CACHE_Seven because something in the outdoor industry didn’t sit right with us.
Every year, brands spend billions convincing people what to buy—slick ads, polished campaigns, influencer content. Meanwhile, the people with the deepest expertise—outdoor professionals who live and breathe these environments—are often left completely out of the conversation.
These are the people, the professionals, we trust to keep us safe in avalanche terrain, read river flows, teach our kids to fish, help us summit a peak or navigate a desert. They know what works, and just as importantly, what doesn’t. Their experience isn’t theoretical. It’s lived. It’s earned.
And yet, they’ve never had a real seat at the table when it comes to gear and apparel.

As Cache_Seven grows, you’ll see new features, new partnerships, and more.
Stay in the know.
