About
Miranda Oakley has been a climber for over 20 years and enjoys all types of rock climbing from bouldering to grade VI big walls. She has been a certified rock guide with the American Mountain Guides Association since 2016 and has been guiding since 2007. She has done first ascents around the world including climbs in Patagonia, the eastern Sierra and British Columbia. She has climbed Yosemite’s El Capitan over 20 times including the first female solo ascent of The Nose in less than one day. Miranda loves sharing her knowledge of technical skills and is stoked to help teach people how to become confident and self-sufficient in the vertical world.
