Hannah Cangilla

 Hi there! I grew up in the Front Range of Colorado, learning to ski as kid and going on camping, fishing and canoeing trips with my family growing up. While living on the East Coast for college and work, I discovered climbing. I learned to climb in the Gunks (short for Shawangunks) in upstate New York. I moved home to the west just before 2020 and lived all over Colorado before relocating to Jackson Hole Wyoming. 

I am an Apprentice Ski, Rock and Alpine guide certified through the AMGA, I also hold a CPR/AED and Wilderness First Responder Certification and have completed AIARE's Avalanche Rescue, Professional Level 1 Certification and Instructor Training Course. 

I love to ski and climb equally, I spend my spring and fall seasons climbing all over North America, some of my favorite venues are Red Rocks Nevada, Moab and Indian Creek in Utah, with some personal sport climbing in Wyoming.

I spend the short summer season in the alpine regions of Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Teton National Park.

Winters are filled with famous Teton powder, skiing in the backcountry zones of Teton Pass, Grand Teton National Park and teaching AIARE Avalanche Education courses.

I specialize in affinity programs for women, queer and genderfluid folks. The mountains are for everyone and my goal as a guide is to meet folks where they are and provide a safe, energetic and engaging day out in the mountains.
