Ashley Burton

Ashley was born and raised in California and began guiding in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in 2010. For her it began in Yosemite, and gradually evolved to the High Sierra. She obtained a bachelors degree in civil engineering and environmental science, though her true calling, she quickly realized, was in the Sierras. She couldn’t deny the magic of the backcountry, and how it brought a deeper appreciation and simplicity of life. She loves sharing this special place with others and seeing clients come away with life-changing experiences. Ashley enjoys learning about world religions and cultures and has travelled to India, Nepal, Peru, and Armenia. Ashley is a certified AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and Ayurvedic Health Counselor.
