To Julia, surfing is the best feeling in the world. She loves getting the opportunity to share that with her clients. She has over ten years of experience teaching surfing in Rincón, Puerto Rico, along with many years before that of teaching surfing in Costa Rica.

With a love for the water, Julia has been a swimmer her whole life and swam in college for a d1 university. Julia learned to surf in college, then made up for lost time by moving to Costa Rica after graduating. She did some competing while in Costa Rica on the Costa Rican circuit. After seven years in Costa Rica, she moved to Rincon. When she’s not surfing she competes in open water swim races.

Julia teaches surf lessons of all sizes and abilities but especially loves working one-on-one with intermediate surfers really looking to improve their skills and take their surfing to a higher level.

Water safety and keeping her clients safe is very important to Julia and she has spent many years of her life lifeguarding and also as a swim coach.
