Michael Pedreros

Michael (Mija) Pedreros grew up in Chile and has dedicated the past 13 years of his life to climbing and working as a mountain guide. From the high mountains of Northern Chile to the granite spires of Patagonia, the big walls of Yosemite Valley and now the High Sierra, Mija has found a true passion for being in the mountains and sharing his stoke with others. Mija studied Management in EcoTourism which has guided him in a career as an outdoor educator. In 2020 Mija moved to the US to pursue his certifications through the AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association) and is currently certified as an Certified Rock Guide, Apprentice Alpine Guide and Ice Climbing Guide . He also holds a Wilderness First
Responder, Leave No Trace Trainer, and AIARE Avalanche training level 1.
