Elk Mountain Expeditions opened its doors in 2012 with the intent to bring a more personalized experience to the Aspen whitewater rafting and fly fishing industry. The owners, Lange, James and Conor, grew up together in Aspen exploring and working on the rivers of Colorado. Still their favorite place to raft and play was the Roaring Fork River, flowing through the heart of Aspen, their home. It was a natural progression for them to take their passion for this free-flowing river and find a way to share it with their clients. They love what they do and continually strive to hire like minded guides who truly love floating downstream.

After working with many river companies around the country, Elk Mtn was formed with the vision to create adventures that focus on client experience as opposed to the bottom line. Smaller trips with highly trained guides and attention to detail are what set us apart. The team at Elk Mtn is committed to providing excellent customer experiences on and off the water.
