Climbing the Grand Teton is a true alpine classic—an engaging, beautiful two-day adventure through one of the West’s most iconic ranges. Our climb begins with a steady approach into Garnet Canyon, where we settle in for the night at the Lower Saddle at Exum’s “hut,” perched between the Grand and the Middle. From this high camp, the sunrise route to the summit feels both close and committing, weaving the mountain in an unforgettable position by either the Owen Spaulding, or Exum Ridge routes. The Grand rewards efficient movement and thoughtful pacing, and I’ll guide you through each section with clear instruction and steady momentum. It’s a demanding but deeply rewarding experience.
