Erin Laine grew up in the wide open farm country of southern Colorado, where grit and endless horizons shaped her love for free spaces and spicy food. Skiing grabbed her early—at five years old she was making her first turns at Wolf Creek, and by the time she was old enough to hold a blaster’s license, she was on ski patrol. In 2016, Erin took her first international guiding job in Chile, with just enough in the bank for a one way ticket south. Since then, the mountains have carried her across the globe, a gift she'll never take for granted. When not chasing snow, you’ll find her at home—baking bread, wandering the woods with her pup, or trying to keep up with her wild wildebeest nephews.

Backcountry San Juan Mountains
San Juan Mountains is as rugged and rewarding as it gets- steep couloirs, wide alpine bowls, and deep tree stashes all packed into one of the most dramatic ranges in the Rockies. The snowpack can be tricky, but when conditions line up, the skiing is phenomenal, with big vertical and wild terrain to explore. What really sets the San Juans apart is the full service hut system: tucked away mountain lodges where you can ski tour all day, then come back to a warm fire, hearty meals, and a bed instead of a sleeping bag. It’s the perfect balance of adventure and comfort, making multi day backcountry trips feel both epic and welcoming.

Artic Rim Glacier Skiing
Skiing in Norway is pure Arctic magic. In the Lyngen Alps, you’ll skin straight from the fjord to sharp, glacier-carved peaks and ski back down with the ocean glittering at your feet- big lines, endless light, and that “top of the world” vibe.Then there’s Svalbard, the real deal Arctic rim, where you ski among glaciers, watch for polar bears, and shred runs that start on mountains of ice and end practically on the sea ice itself.

Andes Backcountry Ski
The Andes of Argentina and Chile deliver a wild mix of big mountains, deep culture, and endless adventure. In the Central Andes, backcountry lines spill off massive peaks with views stretching across an entire continent, while further south in Patagonia you can skin up and ski down perfect volcanoes with smoking craters and wide open corn slopes. Add in the option of heli skiing over huge, remote terrain and you’ve got some of the most exciting skiing on the planet.
